Entries for November, 2007

November 30th, 2007

I'm Back!

It's been a full month since I last updated my blog. There's a lot of things that happened. I had a blast this November, of course, it's my birthday month.

Had dinner with my office barkada at Seaside Macapagal. We had our favorites, crabs with gata (with killer aligue), grilled tanigue, baked tahong, sinigang na sugpo and my personal favorite, steamed talaba. It was a fun-filled night with all the homies! It was nice to see a good friend climbing the corporate ladder, REALLY FAST!

Had a really cool party with my dad since our birthday is the same, November 19th, same time, AM 11:35. Cool huh! Some friends from the office dropped by and some unexpected friends showed up just like my kumpadre Jahrem. It's been years since we last saw each other, same goes with Carlo and Kris Joyce. They brought along some of our dasma friends as well. After a liter and two bonjing Fundador, we went somewhere else. Don't wanna elaborate on that one. Lolz!

November is also the month wherein I think I saw the light! hehe... Finally decided to trim down my weight. I hope I'd get lucky with this. If you'd ask me why I'd trim down a bit it's because of this chick with the killer abs. Damn, I like her and I'm affected whenever she doesn't holla back. Hassle! Got some work out to do. I'm trying to avoid rice as much as possible and if I'd eat rice, it would be minimal. Let's see what will happen. I'll start doin' some cardio exercise by next week.

After I get my 13th month pay, I'm gonna do some shopping for myself since I didn't ask my dad to buy me anything since they already did their xmas shopping. "Kainggit", but it's all good. I got my own work so I guess it's better if I buy my stuffs myself. Saw some really great merchandise, saw this really nice shirt from IZOD but it's kinda expensive but way cheaper than the Lacoste shirt that I like. They look almost the same though. There's this pants from Nike which is really nice as well but I prefer the one I saw at Giordano. This is unusual, I usually buy my stuffs somewhere cheap but I think my mom talked me into pampering my self once in a while. God damn it. tsk tsk tsk... I'll just ask my dad to let me use some of his Lacoste shirt. hehehe...

5-star rebels...

I remember the time I wrote something about Magdalo back in college. It was the first time a professor recognized my piece (of shit). Back then, I really idolized the Military Officials who stood-up adn fought for a better government system in our country. The Magdalo Group are a bunch of young, idealistic and brave officers. Some of them may have turned their back from the ideals they had before but I am glad that there are still some people who supports these guys.

I am very vocal about my stand when it comes to PGMA. I DO NOT LIKE HER. She's got a lust for power and money. Let us not be blind about it. It is evident that the Filipinos are already sick and tired of people power.

The Magdalo Group may not have as much supporters as they need to overthrow the government but if you'd look at it, they have famous and powerful personalities who backed them up, the bishops, the former vice-president and even movie directors. Not just because the majority of our population showed up in Makati yesterday, it doesn't mean that they favor the government. Those people who passed by Ayala Ave., may have noticed that drivers are honking their horns to show their support to ask PGMA to resign.

PGMA claims that our economy is getting better. Hell no! The US economy is slowly failing. US stock exchange is at its worst and that is one of the reason why they say Peso is getting stronger. Prices of various petrol products are increasing by the week in our country. If you'd check the global market, oil price is decreasing. The government claims that the increase in petrol price is because of the ever changing peso-dollar exhange rate. That's crap! Can somebody explain this to me. Global Oil Price is going down, Dollar Rate is going down, why on earth is local oil price getting high? It doesn't add up right?

Two more years of crap from PGMA... Let's hope for the best in 2010... It will be a great election on 2010... I just hope that we'd be like the United States, two candidates from two political party. Liberal versus Nationalist which means Mar Roxas versus Manny Villar.
